Monday Minute - 5/31/10

1 - Have you or a family member joined the military?
My dad always said I was regular Army issue. Considering he was in the Air Force I never quite understood if that was good or bad. I was raised a base rat, have been around the world 3 times in distance and moved 28 times. I married Army, divorced Army, married Air Force and kept him. I just can't resist a man in blue. The way I see it, I've got more years in than any serviceman alive. The military owes ME a pension.

2 - Have you or a family member served his/her country in times of war?
My dad served during Vietnam.

3 - What's your favorite BBQ food?
all of it. If it's burnt and charred I love it. My dad had a 3 gin & tonic rule. 3 gin & tonics and it was done. Didn't matter what it was. Steak, chicken, hot dogs, whatever. So to me, if it ain't charred, it ain't BBQ. My husband however, is a grill master. He can cook a steak to perfection with just enough charred edges to keep me happy. Thanks to him, I know what good BBQ tastes like. Thank you Babe!

4 - Do you fart in public?
yes. With gusto. The fact that it drives my tween nuts is merely a bonus

5 - What's the one question that if it shows up on a Monday Minute, you refuse to take part?

1 am 46, 47 in 23 days. I weigh 194 or did the last time the scale and I talked. I suspect it's less now. I am not a natural blond. I used to be, but that was before my kids turned me grey. I am not all that bright but I can talk a good line. I am nothing short of average but I surround myself with people who think I'm a superhero. I am straight but have strong lesbian tendencies. I am a liberal christian in my faith and a mugwump in my politics.

I honestly can't think of a question I either have not already or wont in the future answer. *shrugs* but I concede the fact that I could be wrong. Give it your best shot and lets see. Let's play "Ask the Hippie" come on, bring it.
